Walking tracks in Violet Town

There are two walking tracks - the Honeysuckle Creek walking track within the town Violet Town Recreation Reserve and the Shadforth Reserve walking track just to the north of the town.

The Honeysuckle Creek Walking track was installed by the HREP group. A brochure titled Honeysuckle Creek Walking Track is available from the Cowslip Street businesses.

Shadforth Reserve, on the northern boundary of Violet Town has a sand horse track which is currently used for walking. The Community Forest is within this track so it is an area of wildlife and native trees. A Masterplan has been drawn up for the development of future walking tracks and conservation.
